On September 15, 2009, Atlanta Soroptimist hosted Alia El-Sawi who currently serves as the
Anti-Human Trafficking Coordinator with Tapestri, Inc, a non-profit social service agency that works with survivors of violence from the immigrant and refugee community.
On March 7, 2009, Atlanta Soroptimist hosted its annual Awards Luncheon with key note speaker Francina Pace. Awards were given to extraordinary women in our community and include Lindsey Paoletto, Rosatta Harri, Katonya Drammeh, Katherine Bryant and Aurea McGarry
