Committees
|
Soroptimist members should serve on at least one or more committees. The following lists each committee and its responsibilities.

| Finance Committee |
Responsible for budgeting procedures.
|
|
Fund Development Council
|
Responsible for making club members aware of the Soroptimist Fund Development Council programs, encourage contributions and administer local Women's Opportunity Award, Violet Richard Award, and the Ruby Lee Minar Soroptimist Memorial Fund.

|
Growth and Development
|
Propose names and encourage members to propose names of those eligible for membership. Cooperate with the Region and Federation in establishing new clubs.
|
|
Laws and Procedures
|
Review all proposed amendments to the Soroptimist International constitution to the Federation Bylaws and to Southern Region Procedures. Explain and clarify changes in bylaws to club members. Review and present proposed changes both to club procedures and Southern Region procedures.

|
Public Relations
|
Publicize club activities and accomplishments in the community.
|
|
Orientation
|
Educate club members as to the heritage, purpose, objects, policies, and programs of the organization.
|
|
Leadership Training
|
Include Leadership Training at the beginning of each Club year so that new officers know their responsibilities.
|
|
Ways and Means
|
Suggest methods of raising money and direct fund-raising projects which are approved by the club.
|
|
Community Service
|
Research and recommend projects within the community for donations of time or money.
|
|
International Goodwill and Understanding
|
Educate members as to current International and Federation projects. Recommend ways club can participate. Coordinate interaction with Friendship Links.
|
|
Telephone/Electronic E-mail
|
Contact club members concerning regular or special meetings. Make other contacts as requested by special meetings. Make other contacts as requested by the president or board.
